Dove & Duck shooting in Argentina

Argentina has an amazing potential as a Wingshooting paradise. Cordoba, the so called Dove shooting capital of the World, with its rich cornfields offers an annual amount of over 30 million Doves and Pidgeon. While on the shores of the Panara River and the San Javier River in the Province Santa Fee you find some of the best Duck and Partridge shooting in Argentina. Here you will get the best hunts Argentina offers, accompanied with first-class accommodations and service that is second to none. If your dream is to go on a hunt that is unlike any other we have a lot in store for you.

With our partner we are offering 3 unique and luxury Lodges for Dove, Duck & Partridge shooting.

The Dove Shooting at La Zenaida & El Paraiso

The lodges have around 30 shooting fields which are in walking distance or at a short drive through the region’s rich farmland. The overwhelming amount of birds flying restlessly all day long ensures great opportunities for non-stop shooting suitable for all skill levels. Beginners have an unparalleled chance for improving their shooting skills aiming at low flying doves, while more experienced shooters find higher and faster targets quite a challenge. An average hunter may expect to shoot between 2 to 4 cases a day, and there is No Bag Limit!

In the field you will be assigned a bird-boy who will provide you with shot shells and refreshments, direct you to your shooting blind and help you load your gun. They are equipped with radios for easy fast communication and can solve problems rapidly. You will be constantly visited by your field guide who will assist you with any need, even give you some tips on shooting if required.

Wake up call is generally around 7:30am, and the shooting begins after a hearty breakfast. You will shoot until noon when you will be treated to an incredible lunch at the lodge, tasting some of Argentina’s wonderful beef and superb wines. Afternoon shoot begins at around 2:30 and continues until almost dark.

The Duck & Partridge Shooting at Veracruz

At Veracruz you can hunt different species of ducks depending on the time of the year, the rosy billed and whistling ducks being the most common, along with some teals.  Duck shooting features comfortable and well camouflaged blinds; quality specie-specific decoys and guides who will place you where you need to be to get the kind of duck hunting you've only dreamed of until now. The shooting occurs on the shores of San Javier Rivers, over some of the hundreds of islands or over rice fields. We shoot twice a day, morning and evening, and there is plenty of time to relax at midday.

For morning hunts, our hunters depart from the lodge in the dark, but after a hearty breakfast. Depending on the time of the year and the behavior of the birds (scouted every day), the time to get to the blinds will be from 20 minutes to an hour, including car or boat ride. Shooting over decoys starts at first light and continues until 10 am or after. Depending on the skills of the shooter, the limit of 60 ducks per hunt can be reached quite quickly. Flocks of 20 or 30 ducks are not rare. Most days, duck hunters return to the lodge for lunch and a siesta before afternoon departure at about 3pm for evening duck hunts. Evening hunts last until dark.

Perdiz over dogs is a great choice to hunt. They are fast and challenging. Britain’s or German shorthair dogs hunt with us. We normally arrange 2-3 walks during the day.
