Welcome to this fantastic Driven Partridge Shooting on the famous plateau of Guadalajara. You are shooting on a 3500 ha Estate with fields, bushes, hedges, small forests and hills and a great accommodation. This area offers the perfect habitat for the Perdiz Rojo – the Red Legged Partridge.

The Shoot

The Estate “Matarrubia” an one-hour drive away from Madrid in the Province Guadalajara offers one of the most interesting Red Legged Partridge shooting in Spain. The 3500 ha Finca near the magnificent Sierra de Ayllon with its rolling hills and sunflower fields, small forests, bushes and the typical red barrancos allows a huge variety of different shoots and drives. We can tailormade every day regarding the wishes and skills of the guns. The possibilities are endless…
Beside of the traditional driven days we also offer some mixed bag days with walked up shooting and the traditional driven hunts on wild boars.

The Lodge

The completely new renovated Shooting Lodge “La Cruz de Piedra” recently restored with the utmost care and respect for all the original architectural features, offers a total of 8 elegant and comfortable spacious double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a large living and dining lounge with fireplace and a bar area, all nicely decorated and keeping the authentic style of the region. Outside, the guests can enjoy the swimming pool and its sun bed area in the huge garden. The perfect place to relax with a nice drink after an exhausting day full of shooting and adventure.
